Co-founder and Founding Artistic Director of collaborative intergenerational arts, aging and hospice project involving elders from hospice, nursing home residents, poets, composers, instrumentalists, university choirs, youth and community members.  Program elements include school based forms, concerts, recordings,  long-term partnership development in Northern New Mexico, public speaking, annual performances (Lensic and National Hispanic Cultural Center) and more.  

Co-Founder/Co-Artistic Director, Institute for Living Story, Academy for the Love of Learning, Santa Fe

Designed and led a wide-range of workshops, trained community members in creative leadership and depth facilitation.  Projects included The University of Wisconsin and The Dalai Lama, The Academy for Ethical Leadership, New Mexico based training in creative leadership for cultural leaders and more.  Co-designed and led the Creative Action Team and Institute for Living Story. 

Professor of Practice, Art & Ecology, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque

Taught wide range of arts and social engagement courses to interdisciplinary group of students including Environmental Storytelling, Collaboration, Failure,  and Social Practice Lab. Participated in interdisciplinary creative community engagement projects and teams, research and writing projects.  Developed Creative Leadership master’s level program blueprint for The Center for Fine Arts.   

Artist Director/Creator, Littleglobe’s Common Ground: TOC project, rural NM

A multi-year intermedia community dialogue, arts and community capacity building project with the village of Cuba, NM and the two neighboring Navajo communities of Torreon and Ojo Encino. 150 Participants from the communities created The Common Ground Festival, a unique expression of place, history and community vision in June, 2007.  They have since formed a community council and together with Littleglobe create a wide range ofcommunity projects.

Founding Artistic Director and Co-Founder, Littleglobe, Santa Fe, 2005-2015

Non-profit artist collective consisting of diverse professional artists committed to collaborative and community-sourced interdisciplinary creative projects.  Projects include: new musical works, large-scale community engaged projects, intermedia performance, film, video and installations. Created and directed a wide range of creative projects including individual, small team projects and large-scale community collaboration projects.  Recipient of of numerous commissions and residencies in the US and UK.

Touring Teaching Artist-Facilitator/Workshop Leader

Taught a variety of workshops and master classes for universities, arts organizations, arts ensembles, health workers, schools, and community organizations.  Subjects include arts and community engagement with communities, improvisational choirs, creating ensemble, interdisciplinary creative process, expressive arts & community health, building creative community partnerships, and creating performance scores from everyday life.  Selected hosts include University of Cork, University of Limerick, Gilda’s Clubhouse, UNM, College of Santa Fe, Arts-In-Hospital (Glasgow, Scotland), Dance City (UK), The Santa Fe Opera and more.

Freelance Artistic Director-Creator/ Performer/Ensemble Leader

Soundtrack writing, performance, recording artist and leader of several creative music ensembles.  Creative ensembles include BING and mJane ( Pax Recordings).  Created and performed a wide range of arts and social healing projects  including Crossings for The Creative Center ( NYC), Memorylines-Nuestros Jornados, a community opera for Santa Fe Opera, NIGHT for The City of Evora, Portugal;  Moment for City of Cork, Ireland and The European Union Festival of Culture and many more.  Funders included MAP, The EU Festival of Culture,  Black Rock, United States Artist and many arts and health commission in the US and Europe.

Worked throughout New Mexico with schools, nursing homes, families and community groups to create original new creative works lifting voices and perspectives of participants.
